[ARCHIVED] [ECO] NAP applied to neighborhoods with no residential lots

@HuhFaceSus Did you check on the open NAPs in your neighborhood to make sure it's not related to sharing is caring ?

    @crinrict Definitely a valid point for the OP to look into. However ... his statement does ring true. This is suppose to be a real life sim. Why Maxis would program sharing is caring to allow sims to go into a business of any kind and rob the place blind, to the point where the game flags the lot as incomplete/unusable, is beyond me. This NAP was poorly thought about, poorly designed and poorly programed.

    So I went and checked and it is INDEED because the sharing is caring Plan. 

    My problem with this is, i had no idea this neighborhood could even have plans because jts the Magnolia District and I took the only residential plot and made it a business/home duplex. So there's literally no one here to vote but me.

      @HuhFaceSus I merged this with the master thread on the issue then. I do find it also rather odd that magnolia promenade lots have the plan as there's nothing to vote there. No families that could vote.

      Question for you: Is this a save you played for a long while and that could have gotten the NAP when it was all buggy at the beginning or did this happen newly ?

      The NAP being so agressive on community lots is feedback at this point but if enough folks are bothered by it, maybe EA considers changing it.

      If the plan is still being voted on in neighborhoods that have no residential lots, then that would be a bug.

        The save is from November of last year. But yeah there's no residential lots just all business. (even tho I basically made the top floor of my shop a house for my sims so they don't have to leave.)
