[ARCHIVED] [ECO] Sim reset upon creating Eco Part in Fabricator

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63.134.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get famous, Seasons, Eco lifestyle, City Living, Dine out, Holiday celebration pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Trying to fabricate eco upgrade part In fabricator.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sim starts fabricating an eco upgrade part and halfway through glitches out in a T pose, the fabrication remains half done and even after scrapping it or buying a new fabricator the issue remains. When clicking on resume fabrication, I receive a part that the game doesn't allow me to use when upgrading. I can fabricate anything else.
What do you expect to see? The fabrication to complete and the part be useable.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I've crafted like 20 eco upgrade parts before this bug started happening, I have no idea what happened.

    As stated, it seems to be related to being Level 10 in the Civil Designer career. Had no issues with replicator resetting prior to reaching level 10 in the Green Technician branch, but as soon as my sim got to level 10 the resetting started.

    I've only just bought the Eco expansion and have been playing with it a bit.

    So mine was having the same issue.  Every single time I tried to fabricate an eco upgrade part, it failed.  My sim had some disaster with the machine and quit with no option later to resume.

    I sold the machine and bought a new one and tried again.  Now my sim is successful every time and the part shows up in my inventory.

    I am also having the issue with being unable to complete fabrication of eco upgrade parts. I am on PS4. My sim is at 8/10 on the green technician career. I only had this issue once I was promoted to device savant. I have tried moving and buying new fabricator. I have also tried using a fabricator on a different lot. If there has been a fix for this that would be great because crafting an eco upgrade part is my daily task and being unable to do so is kind of game breaking. Thank you.

    I have been having the same issue with my save. My sim was in the Civil Planner career and once she hit level 10 she could no longer fabricate upgrade parts. I have also been unable to fabricate some other parts, like the outdoor Trellis. It seems like the fabrication should have finished properly but I do not receive the item and I only have the option to scrap the fabrication. With the eco upgrade part I can resume fabrication but it never actually finishes. Every other time pressing resume fabrication results in an eco upgrade part being added to my sims inventory.

    I don't have any mods or CC and the packs I have are eco lifestyle, nifty knitting, and dine out.

    @SimGuruRitzy Hi!
    I’m a console player (PS4) and I have the same issues with the fabricator.
    Sorry there is no way to share my PS4 game files with you.
    I would love to see it resolved.

    PS I wanted to note that console players have the same glitches as PC players … I see a lot of “remove mods” as a solution to most if not all of them. As a console player it’s easy to see that mods have little to do with these main glitches. ✌🏻

    PSS Thanks for taking the time to get these glitch issues solved for all of us Simmers.
