I would like to know if there are any new updates about this bug, as it is still occurring in the current patch. I even private messaged you and sent you the save and did not seems to get a respond. It's been months and this problem have been unplayable for me as I do not know if I progress the game I will lose my properties. So here I am providing you the save again hoping to get some update and responds from EA, thank you.

How often does the bug occur? 100%
What is your current game version number? 1.109.185.1030 but it started since the August update
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions besides lovestruck and life and death, all game packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy a residential rental lot and check business panel. It is only happening in saves created pre-lovestruck patch.
What happens when the bug occurs? The business panel says I have no owned properties, despite my sim purchasing a residential rental lots.
What do you expect to see? My owned residential rentals to show up in my own business panel.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? It occurred with both modded and not modded gameplay

This bug still remain unsolved in December 2024 patch.
Ok, I weirdly kinda solved it, don't know if it will work for everyone.
So I saw this comment on Reddit: "Adding another one post Lovestruck: when the game has to 're-register' all your packs. any lots that you made rentals revert back to regular lots."
Since I have the problem since the Lovestruck patch, and also the pre-set rental property at Tomarang was not effected. I follow this logic to try and see if I can revert it.
MAKE A BACKUP SAVE BEFORE YOU TRY
On manage world, I moved out everyone at the rental property, sell the property, then in manage world's build mode, revert the property to regular property.
Then choose the household you wanna buy the property, go to live mode and buy it. Then it should show on the business panel. Just do one should be fine.
Then save and go back to main menu. The load the game again, and every rental property will show up again.
