Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? For Rent: playing as a property owner, my sims never get rent payments. Grace period begins/lease length ends and no rent payment occurs.
What happens when the bug occurs? The grace period begins and I have tried letting the grace period expire and keeping tenants and evicting tenants to fill vacancy with new ones, but my sims never get rent payments. There’s no option to try get the rent or no pop up or anything to say tenants aren’t paying/payment overdue. Rent collection just doesn’t occur and is never acknowledged in the game.
What do you expect to see? I expect to either automatically get the rent payment or to be able to try get rent from my tenants, but there is no option or ability to. It’s just doesn’t happen
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I have tried restarting the game, making a new save, buying new property, buying property through the phone, and buying property through the business tab. I deleted cache too.
I have no mods in the game, I removed them and turned them off in the game setting. I have also repaired the game in Origin. Nothing has worked and I still don’t collect rent from tenants
I am having the same problem as well. I deleted everything and reinstalled and its still the same, along with suddenly having no grace periods anymore. So if I want to raise rent when the rating increases, I have the unjustly evict causing in a fine. If there is an option to Justly evict someone, it still fines me! I have ended up just downloading Ui extension cheats because thats the only way I am able to pay myself the tenants rent, which just defeats the purpose of the pack in my opinion. Hopefully this will be solved soon.
