The Grace period is the period in which you can justly evict a tenant or raise the rent without it affecting the unit reputation. On the business tab you can also see if they are late then go to the mailbox to demand rent or do it in person or choose to evict. If you have neglected your duties as a landlord they may sue your for this. Keep on top of repairs and on good terms with your tenants. You should introduce yourself to all tenants.

@jpkarlsen yes that is how it should be working. It is not working. When tenants are justly evicted they are registering as unjust somewhere and still doing the sue. There was no neglect on the landlords part.

Could you post a screenshot of the notice that the tenant sued you.
- 2 years ago@jpkarlsen Actually no, I do not have a screenshot from this situation.
At that time, I figured it was just a small glitch and started a new save. The entire reason I was doing the "Justly Evict" option was due to never receiving rent payment at any time, so naturally this suit just made my sim have pennies. I actually thoroughly enjoy landlord duties.
I played three weeks in game on three saves then two months in game on my current save. That specific situation happened the third save.
As soon as I figured out it was a glitch, I reported it here.
Again, the Tenants not paying is the actual issue here and the reason for this post and a huge issue.
