My solution will not work for everyone with the no-rent-income problem, but I thought I would share it for those who use MCCC.
My landlord sim didn't receive any rent income for the first five weeks, though his Daily Rent Income was 3,930 simoleons.
Finally, I tried disabling MCCC's Auto Bill Pay feature and my sim manually paid his Bills & Rental Taxes on Monday.
Three days later, on Thursday at 5 am, he received not only the current week's rent payments but also back rent payments for previous weeks.
So if you're playing a landlord sim and use MCCC, check that you've disabled Auto Bill Pay.
Thank you! Hate to say it but this worked for me! Which is certainly frustrating to say the least considering I paid 40 some odd US dollars for this pack and have to use a mod for it to do what it was marketed to do. Thank you for this! EA and the sims team need to do better.
