I've been trying this now since I bought the game at release. And still I don't get payments from tenants. I have looked into all the solutions in game, I've emptied cache, uninstalled the game, forced repairs in app and even removed all the Sims 4 data from my pc. And still, I do not get paid. I have tried and tried to get it to work and it doesn't. How could the game have been released with such a glaring issue in it? I've never had such basic functioning issues with any of the other expansions, and minor glitches just don't annoy me. I just don't feel like I should have to work this hard to make the game do something they said it would. I have chatted to someone today who told me this was the only way to get a response and that they could do nothing with the complaint. I don't even want the expansion anymore. After spending irl days trying to sort it, I want compensation. So who do I speak to?
Just bought the game a few days ago as part of the September Showcase sale. I only noticed today that I wasn't collecting rent and so I wondered if this was a known issue/bug and I was very shocked to see that this expansion pack has been out for months and nothing has been done to fix it. In my opinion it looks like our money has been stolen and we have been lied to. The correct action they need to take is either refund everyone (highly doubt they will) or release an update to fix the bug.... I will not be buying anymore packs until they fix this issue because how do we know that any other new ones do not have major issues also?

I agree, its very frustrating. Im paying myself through cheats now just to be able to still play the game.
I also had an issue where my game would go to manage world whenever I tried to visit a certain rental unit.
