The link of crinrict in the German forum I am here on this site and would like to share my experience on this topic. At this point my thanks to crinrict for your help and support.
Since the last maintenance on Thursday the 05.26.2016 are on my profile page in the game completely different numbers to the shared content, downloads and followers.
Overnight I suddenly had over 80 is sharing more about 1300 downloads more and almost 20 followers more.
I click on the "Friends" button, the correct number of my followers appear.
Today I once compared the uploads on the Gallery site of TheSims.com with those in the game.
Result: On the website 22 objects are repeatedly inside and 9 objects missing.
The numbers of downloads and fav to each individual objects agree in my library in the game with them.
Just yesterday, I have some of my friends in Origin chat questioned whether they have made the same or similar experiences. The numbers have changed by other users upwards or downwards. Here, users from Italy, France, Germany and USA.
Last Friday I have already reported my differences phone at EA. To date, nothing has happened. Sadly EA !! Please fixes finally this error. Thanks
over night i gained over 200 followers. This is not true because i have not had a single follower add since yesterday. So..I too have an issue with my account.

I've also gained a bunch of "new" followers overnight. So I have the bug as well.
I have the same problem as svlyn2 and cinsinn - as far as I can see it applies to the number of followers, shared items and favorites on some of (mainly older) shared items.
My number of followers jumped by about 40, the number of shared items by about 50.
The counter of favorites on some of the shared items appeares to be multiplied. As an extreme example, I have a Maxis faved item which had around 1000 favs. All of a sudden it shows about 5000. Meanwhile the number of downloads seems to be on the same level.
Also I noticed the same issue with other users/creations throughout the gallery.
After todays maintenance the counter of followers jumped again. In my case it used to be wrong by about 50, now it's wrong by >100. I can tell the number is wrong, since the correct number of followers is displayed when you view the followers list. Why is this happening? Also there's an easy solution - just link the counter to the correct number from the followers list.
Also, the wrong number of shared items and the wrong number of favs on older creations (creations from before ~06/2016 seem to be affected) is still an issue which hasn't been corrected.
Any chance those gallery issues will be fixed?

There are still repairs going on behind-the-scenes, which could cause some numbers to be off.. Due to the sheer number of uploads in the Gallery currently, the repairs are taking a very long time. Unfortunately I don't have an ETA for you at the moment. ☹️
Thanks for your feedback. I am again affected by the fact that the numbers of the content, downloads and followers have moved massively upwards. Even if I click the list of friends, right from yesterday absolutely nothing more. So I also went to the website thesims.com to look there times. It occurred to me, that some creations of me now not as two times are contained, but 5 and more. Others are now completely gone. I just wanted to pass this on for information. Perhaps it is to work in the background of use? Sorry for my english. It is translate with google.
it's a database sorting issue, it's not like you have to sort them by hand.
Sorry @marija, you misunderstood. I did not sort this by hand or anything else. I have only "counted" 🙂
