+ Me Too on this one. My child sim had the Self Assured trait, an A in school, finished all 8 child aspirations, learned to ride a bike, did school projects, and was encouraged by parents/grandparents. Near-constant "Confidence+" effects, and on previous patches when I've done the same things the child has had high confidence within a sim day or two. Her confidence trait remained at neutral throughout her childhood, but she did age up to a teen with high confidence. So it's not so much a problem of the level changing, but rather the tracking not giving any notification or trait feedback during childhood.
