@kkatiehills It was driving me insane, I was able to fix it with Lumpinou's mod.
The reason it happens is when you age up a sim without viewing their new milestone it will forever mark it as unread.
I used the milestone mod to remove the offending milestone (learned Peek-a-Boo in my case), and then just add it back. The annoyance stopped.

I've been having this for months with one of my Sims. I can't remember if I looked at the milestone before or after aging up, but I assume I didn't.
