@X_xGamefyrex_XYou need to send both involved Sims to a public street outside your lot (I had success in Windenburg's rural district). Sims will not go to a big enough free space autonomously.

Thanks for the tip! It worked. My family lives in Sulani with a lot of usable space outside their lot.
