I wasn't having this issue prior to the 1/14 update but I am now.  Sent my sims to a club on a date and they can't dance on the dance floor or at the DJ booth anymore.  I appreciate that EA has hired a bug fix team but really the better solution would be for the new release team to stop creating new bugs or reactivating old ones.
