Yep, just discovered this problem. Now, note that there is a workaround, which simply adds an extra step; ask the sim to "pick up a serving" and they put it into their inventory, after which they'll properly eat it (from inventory) as requested.

    This same error happens to me, I no longer see the point of completing the aspiration when the trait is practically broken and the duplicate food cannot be eaten by the sims
