Since the September update last week - all of my animals are aging and dying with the aging box unchecked. Dogs, horses, chickens, etc. This has never happened to me before - outside of rabbits before the "fix" which appears to be not working anymore.
Hello @RavenQueen17, @HeartySimsX, @riley2278 ,
If any of you are still encountering this on the latest game version (without mods), would you be willing to share your save file(s)?
If so, please send me a private message with a link to the file.

Thanks!
- 2 years ago@TheSimsDirect Hello, I have a sudden problem with my horse ranch animals, I got them as youngsters and yesterday a window popped up saying oh how sad goat (name) and sheep (name) have grown old and might die soon if the reaper appears, but all the aging in the game is deactivated, for Sims and for animals. Plus, the goat and sheep seem to have skipped the adult stage and went from young to old/soon dying. This is awful! I don't want that *heavily sobbing*.

@BostonBull1999 I just had that happen with a chicken. He was a young adult rooster, but when my sim took him to the Finchwick Fair to enter him in a contest, and then returned home, he was suddenly an elder. None of the other chickens on the lot aged up at all. I have all of the various aging options for all sims and animals disabled in my game settings. I don't even have the Horse Ranch pack yet. If something has changed in the game files recently, perhaps it was in a game patch rather than the Horse Ranch pack itself.
P.S. I am using mods, so unfortunately it won't do any good to attach my save file.
- 26 days ago@TheSimsDirect Hi. Sent you a pm with save attached. I only recently run into this issue after getting For Ranch and For Rent a few days ago.
