What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cottage living, seasons, get to work, jungle adventure, outdoor retreat, laundry day, romantic garden, luxury party stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? not sure, I have aging animals off and the Reaper came for my chickens anyway. ( Please can you also change that rabits cannot die? It's so sad, I don't care they're not part of the family ☹️ )
What happens when the bug occurs? My animals are getting old and dying anyway.
What do you expect to see? Animals wont get old and stay with me as long as I want.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
Please can you fix this. I've spend all my time making friends with my chickens, cows, I've name them and then there's sad music and death. I'm having aging animals off and I don't want them to die. It's so sad that you let rabbits and foxes die too cause they're not part of the family, I gave my rabbits so many presents, huged them and now they're gone. I've cried and don't want to play sims anymore I can't watch my animals die !!!!!! I've seen reports about it in 2021 please do something about it
Same problem here. I disable all aging. It seems ok for sims, bug animals are aging and dying again
This has been happening to me as well since the most recent update on Oct. 22, 2024. I had a flock of chickens that were all special chickens (golden and obsidian). I switched households to play a different one and the current household came to visit the household with the chickens. All the chickens were reaped by Grim when the household with the chickens was visited. No way to stop it.
My settings are set to have animals not age. Current household also had rabbits and a hamster die. It was not just that one household.
yeah i am playing the new expansion and the grim reaper just reaped every animal on a lot when I was at work as a reaper. I have no idea why. I couldn't even ask him for expert opinion which was the career goal. Completely broken.
Dec 2024 my farm animals are still dying of old age with aging turned off, this has gone on now for too long, it did go right for a short time and i didn't lose any, but the bug came back. It just makes me want to stop playing. Please sort this out
This just started happening to me as well. I don't want my sheep to die.
