Ever since all this stuff with the new release (Life and Death) pack started showing up, all my farm animals (cows, llamas, chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits, foxes) are instantaneously aging up to "one...last...pet" and the reaper comes for them taking all of them at the same time (even if the chickens are still little chicks newly hatched). This happens in every household with these animals. Aging is turned off for all animals and sims in my game. Never had this problem until the last week or two. It is really starting to * me off to the point I don't even want to play any more. Don't have mods either. Can this problem get fixed, please? I've seen that other people are having this problem. I don't know what caused this to happen other than that it is a recent problem for me.

It's happening in my game too! Last night Grim came for my Golden chicken even though I have aging turned and have had it turned off since I got the pack (when it came out). It wasn't a problem for a while but now it is.

It's happening to me right now too. I made such a good friendship with them, I'm so sad!! I have animal aging turned off too ugh! My goats and sheep helped my garden :c I wish this would get fixed

I didn't have this problem before but I do now. Aging is turned off completely, for both sims and animals, and my goat just died as soon as I loaded into the household (was playing other households for a while so I just loaded in and Grim was there :/ )

I not only have aging for animals turned off, but I also have death DISABLED in my game. After the Oct 22 patch, my sim was visiting his grandparents and grim was there after my mini goat. I exited the game without saving. This was the first time I have seen grim in my game since I disabled death. Something is wrong and I hope they fix it, because I simply don't want anyone in my game to die.

I have death and animal aging turned off too and out of nowhere it said my goat had died and I saw the reaper coming into my lot, I didn't know what to do so I just watched and sure enough, he immediately went to my chickens, llama and other goat one by one until he reaped them all. This is a horrible bug. Luckily I had literally just started the game so I reloaded the save and just left the lot. Almost all of my households have animals though so this sucks.
Cottage living pack can't catch a break with all of the new bugs on top of old, unfixed ones.
I guess I'll stop playing and wait another 1+ years before they fix this bug. I was excited for the new packs.
- LadyAofPineapple2 months agoSeasoned Ace@nirvanatrash I have a lot of farm animals in many of my households. I can't even play in certain neighborhoods, because MY NEIGHBORS' animals will still get reaped. Between this, the Sulani fishing bug, and the CL festival bug, there are fewer safe lots to play with than ever!
