Same here.
I started with a couple in Sulani (I also have the Sulani fishing bug) and over the course of the game I added the following: 1 dog, 2 horses, 1 dwarf sheep, 1 cow, 4 chickens and 3 children. My 3 children were teenagers in the meantime and now I have made my eldest a young adult so that I can send him to university. After 10 attempts (because of the bug), I finally got him into my penultimate semester and now I want to send my middle child to university too.
Whenever I switch from the game state/household of my eldest, which is on the collage, to the main household of my family, it happens at the latest when I finish Sims 4 and open it again that my chickens suddenly say “one ... last ... time ... petting ...” or “senior” instead of “fully grown”. But before I finished Sims 4 they were still “fully grown”.
I am already desperate what I would do wrong... ☹️ I will now also wait for the bug fix before I continue playing here.
Please fix this bug! I'm tired of seeing my animals die when I'm not ready for them to.
