Prom still not working. First, aging has to be off for the event to show up, but the prompt to actually go never fires.
There is no button for "Go to Event" on the calendar.
I used the SimInfo mod to look at the principal. While he's at school during school hours it lists him as unemployed with "Role: Principal". After regular school hours, still unemployed, "Role: None".
Is it a variation of the missing Principal Prescott bug? No principal, no prom?
What if you tried using the More Students mod to manually assign Sims to be the principal and faculty, then if you didn't want to actually play with the mod, remove it? Maybe that would kind of do a "forced reset" on the base game's school arrangement.

If it's a lack of a principal that's the problem, I don't think that would do it.
He's only principal during school hours. Before and after he's unassigned.
I even dragged him out to the school and auditorium to see if he'd assume his role on school grounds. Nope. Bought him a house in case it was a homeless issue. This is after trying all the previous suggestions.
The lack of a "Go to Event" button is an issue. It's not there even during school hours so maybe I'm reading the whole thing wrong.
- crinrict9 months agoHero+@Ruffinshot There are multiple issues with prom. Only one was fixed (Button there but nothing happens when you click). Yours seems different as you say you don't even have the button.
I merged your post with the main thread of prom not taking place but to be sure, when you travel to the prom venue manually, there's nothing going on ?
