Wow they still haven't fixed this after all this time. To me personally, this bug would be one of the most game breaking if not for the played workaround.

This bug has gotten worse with lovestruck, as played households don't get auto assigned turn ons and offs (and even then it's only when they're interacting with played), which means they'll all have neutral attraction to everyone.

I guess you can go into the homeless sims and manually assign them random turn ons and offs, but that's a pain to say the least.
