Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Travel to ThrifTea in Copperdale of any Player built Thift and Boba tea Shop in a world
What happens when the bug occurs? The only event that is activeat the lot is Amateur Comedy Night no matter the time I arrive at the lot. Also, there is no one manning the counter so I can't buy the Boba tea and food there.
What do you expect to see? When I go on certain days, I expect to see events that is suppose to play out like Poetry reading and the fashion show. I also expect to see a Sim at the counter so I can buy drinks not just at ThifTea in Copperdale but for my assigned lots in my other worlds.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

Please describe the patch or change you made. The patch From July that predated LoveStruck and the Patch that was sent afterwards last month to address stuff broken from that patch.
I'm already irritated that the patches screwed up my game where I can't invite sims to go with me to festivals, can't fish in Sulani nor participate in the fishing competitions, can't resume a knitting project if I stop for whatever reason and let's not forget the lovely error that doesn't let me save over an existing file...but now I can't even get my Boba tea?! Even worse, the counter doesn't even act like the other food counters I have from other packs that would let my sim interact with it. At least if it was like the other counters and no sims was auto-manning it, I could just pay 100 bucks to get a sim to show up or I can get my own food and drink like the bistro bar counter.
Please fix this. It is bad enough that your patches screwed up players' game files but at least the guys on PC can fall back on their modding community to try and fix what you broke. Console players have no such luck so having my game screw up because you guys can't be bothered to pay for a quality QA team to go over your DLCs before you push it out to the market is ridiculous.
Don't think you announcing the Mysims games being put on the Switch is going to distract people of how you messed up with Lovestruck though I was already not planning to get it since you couldn't be bothered to fix My Wedding Stories and hoped people forgot about it.

Could you post a picture of one of the thrift teas you tested and if you have them from the gallery, please post creator/name of the lot.
The original Lot in Copperdale is busted and that thread is not only a year old but it doesn't mention the fact that events are also broken. Three events are suppose to happen at that shop: Fashion Show, Poetry Reading and Amateur Comedy. The last event is the only event happening on all days rather than Mondays and Fridays. I'll try to get a picture of the lot but the only reason OP had no problem was because Lovestruck (Bugstruck more like) didn't exist so their save wasn't as messed up.
OK, so I went into the game again and apparently the vendor decided to show up now? Also, there is a Fashion Show going on but it's Saturday...I thought it only happens on Fridays? Regardless it's still being buggy so it needs to be looked at.
Also, one other thing EA...why can't I make my own Boba tea and I have to rely on using the counter( that's unusuable unless a vender is there)? You guys do know instant Boba exists, right? You could have let us use the Magic Tea Brewer to make it, just add it with the regular teas and put it in a separate wheel. Normally I don't use it since it makes my sim a tea crackhead that won't leave it alone but I have an addiction to Boba tea so this would be the one time I'd allow her to go full addict since I can relate lol
I'm having this issue too on PC across multiple saves. I've tried putting a new bubble tea shop, but no dice. It's always amateur comedy night :/ even at noon on a Sunday
Updating this thread, I also see in my current game the problem with the bubble tea barista and the thrift store owner not appearing. Every time my teenage sim goes to bubble tea, there are only 4 sims who are participating in a poetry reading event. I spent hours with Sim at the scene to see if this event would end and the barista and the store owner would show up, but unfortunately neither of them showed up. Detail: apart from the participants in the poetry recitation, no other visiting NPCs or teenagers appear at the site. I don't know exactly when it started, but as I don't play frequently in all worlds and lots and play with rotating families, I hadn't noticed this happening until then. I only noticed it when I decided to go for bubble tea after a looong time. I have almost all the expansions, except the last Passion in sight. Pc game version.
Possible solution: I managed to normalize the appearance of the store owner and the barista. As the poetry event starts on Monday at 3pm, I decided with my sim to show up on that day so that the correct event could begin. So, when Monday arrived at 3pm, the event that was stuck in poetry recitation changed to the fashion show, with customers returning normally, the owner of the thrift store and the barista appearing. I hope this helps anyone who has an event stuck during the week. I believe we just have to wait for another scheduled event to start and it will return to normal.
