I have the same problem with my twins, the worst thing is, on the days when they have afterschool activities, the one twin who has the daily tasks can go just fine to the afterschool activity, but the twin that doesn't have the tasks can't go, he remains stuck in the high school. Also, this sim doesn't progress as much as his brother, because while his brother (the one that gets the tasks and the daily reports) is an A student, he is just a B student, which is frustrating.
This is happening to me as well. I have a household with triplets and only the eldest has the daily tasks panel if I follow all 3 of them to school, and only she gets the notification at the end of the day to say how she did.
The same thing happened to me after the latest patches.
I have 3 teens, I have been playing offline at first to avoid the update and the high school worked fine.
Ever since I updated only one teen will have the tasks and the end-of-the-day notification.
Its not always the same sim out of the three that attend.
