It was a glitch. When the infants cry, the tears rain from their eyes, and then in the glitch, they continue even after no matter what they're doing. They don't just have tears in their eyes, but are appearing to be crying still (the tears are still "raining" out of their eyes). (Not sure how to explain the action of the tears other than raining). I don't have a picture of it because I debugged her and they stopped. On the glitch level, it's pretty mundane and easily fixable. I haven't had it repeat since.
The issue is not just them crying when happy. My infant (Xbox One) randomly started producing tears and hasn't stopped for days. This happened to me today. At this point I assume it will stop after aging up.
Not necessarily. My permanently ’crying’ infant is now a permanently ‘crying’ toddler.
I had an infant who teared for several days. It started while doing tummy time.
