The curry recipe is labeled vegetarian friendly but when cooking with simple living it requires prepped meat for the recipe. Perhaps meat substitute or potatoes and onions would be more appropriate. 

(I have not tried to make it to see if it dishonors the sims values as this family unfortunately only grows vegetables 😅)
