@a044ad5ba5a5e8fd, I was able to use the "kaching" cheat and the "bb.moveobjects on" cheat. Have you tried those yet, and if so do they not work for you?๐ค
@PugLove888Yup, tried them, no luck in getting them to work.
@a044ad5ba5a5e8fd, I'm sorry they don't work for you! โน๏ธ I have no idea why they work for me. ๐ค The only thing I can think of is that I don't use CC or Mods in my game, but I have no idea if you do or not! ๐คจ
I did try some of the mood cheats, and those don't work for me, but Kaching and bb.moveobjects on do work in my game.
MOO and the money cheats also work for me, but skill cheats are definitely broken.
And, I found yet another problem the update broke in-game. At least once or twice a day, played Sims get stuck. ResetSim no longer works. The ONLY way to fix this (work around) is to save & exit to main menu -- then reload the game.
@PugLove888 Don't use CC or Mods.. I've noticed on this thread that some cheats work for some and not for others, so it's a bit hit and miss at the moment.

This is interesting cause resetsim works for me. There's a few people reporting it broken but I have no issues with it.
the shift-clicking reset object and resetting through the mailbox doesn't work. however, resetsim firstname lastname worked for me ๐

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Seasons
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I open the command box and I've typed in all the combinations of "TestingCheats true" (even all the ones suggested on the current running thread. Every time it says "Cheats Enabled"... But when I type ANY command, whether it be kaching, motherlode, relationship or career and skill cheats, NOTHING works. I have no CC or mods enabled right now.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing works. No money is added, the skills don't register. The only thing that works is if I click on the Sim to modify their needs. That's the only thing that is working.
What do you expect to see? The cheats working properly. Adding money to the household or modifying my skills and such.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The patch that was updated on June 19, 2018.โ
The only cheat that is working right now is the "needs" one. I can only right click on the sim to make their needs met.
I can't use any other cheats.

Is anyone have issues with cheat codes, none of the cheats to fill needs and skill seem to be working after my most recent origin update.
I noticed that reset object/debug no longer works, although I know that's not a cheat code.

@a044ad5ba5a5e8fd, sorry I missed your reply earlier. I didn't think it was really a Mods/CC issue, but I couldn't think of anything else why some cheats work for some people and not for others! ๐ค
Let's hope this gets fixed (and soon!) ๐ The "reset Sim" cheat is the most important one, and people have reported it not working anymore! ๐ข
@PugLove888 I too hope it get's fixed, but the main cheats I use are the skill cheats, the death cheats and the emotional cheats from the parenthood pack, all of which are currently on the broken list. Reset Sim for me is not one I use much but I do get that people love that cheat and it does come in handy from time to time.
It was worth asking about the mods/CC, as you never know if someone uses them or not.
Since the cheat breakage in the Seasons patch is apparently "By Design" (according to TwistedMexi, at least), would this issue be something for the Feedback section of the official Forums at this point (like the earbuds not giving Fun or the weird dancing/Party outfits)?

Unless a QA person/dev actually says it's by design, we're going to keep up the hope :D

@a044ad5ba5a5e8fd, it's not so much that I use "reset Sim" all the time; it is just that every once in a while I really need to use it! ๐คจ This cheat has saved several households over the years when one or more Sims get stuck. If it weren't for this cheat, I would have either had to abandon that family or let a Sim die of starvation because they were stuck and couldn't eat. ๐
The cheats I use the most are "kaching", "bb.moveobjects on", and "freerealestate on", followed by the relationship cheat for romance when I forget to set the parents' relationship as Married! (Saddly, I do this quite often! ๐ณ ) ๐ After that I use "motherlode" and "bb.showhiddenobjects" . So while I use these cheats more, I still think that the Reset Sim cheat is the most important. Even if I played with no other cheats, this one is a must-have if your game is not behaving correctly!
It is a shame that the cheats that you happen to use the most are the ones affected by the bug! ๐ That's rough! ๐ข
