what is seasons patch? the cheat "sims.fill_all_commodities" isn't working for me anymore after I updated my sims !!
- The update you just got would be the Seasons Patch. It's an update (patch) for the game to prepare the game for the Seasons expansion pack, hence it's called the Seasons patch.
Is there any way to uninstall the update? I dont plan on getting the seasons expansion because it is so expensive so i wouldnt need the patch for it.
So since downloading Seasons/the new update, half of the cheats don't work. Skill cheats don't work, when I reset a sim who got stuck, they lost all of their skills.

merged the post you posted in the tech forum into here as well.
That doesn't make sense, I don't have Seasons yet and mine are still broke. This update was completely forced (I usually play offline) and it screwed up everything. I planned on getting the other expansions and stuff packs but I'm not wasting more money. I've already been bent out of shape by having to use origin to play these games now this!
Crin, I know you don't work for EA but do you have a number any of us can call or something to contact someone who does? No offense, I know you're trying to help but as you can see people are pissed off about this.
That's because it didn't break with the release of the Seasons expansion it broke with the release of the Season update that came out on Tuesday (June 19). So even if you don't have Seasons if you installed the update (which Origin forces you to do) that's when it broke.
