After the toddler update, none of the characters in the game will age up. They'll make the birthday cake but take it out of the oven and immediately eat it and not put the candles on. Can not do it manually either. I've tried updating and repairing it through origin and it did not fix it
I originally added this as a new post but I was advised to add it here, so here it is.
I searched for this exact issue and couldn't find it. I found something similar where the sim wouldn't eat and they just put the plate on the floor. But my issue is one of my sims, only one, will go to get a play of food, whether it's fresh or left over and she puts it in her inventory. Even if she's hungry, she'll take one or two bites then put it in her personal inventory. It's like she's saving it for later or something because she did it one time and I forgot about it and had her get more food and she ate it. But then a few sim hours later she was talking to her kid and pulled out a plate of french toast and started eating it. but 9 times out of 10 she just ends up with spoiled food in her inventory and a disgusted moodlet. Is this just a weird quirk added into the game or is there something wrong here? Has anyone else experienced this exact issue?
