What happens when the bug occurs? When I do "check ID" for a resistance sympathizer, they raise their hands and just stand there. My sim doesn't do anything. And I can't click on anything as if the queue is full. My sim will autonomously do other things and I can cancel them but I can't do anything else. Resetting my sim and the sympathizer doesn't help. The only way to get out of this is to use the "m" key to travel to another neighborhood then my sim is playable again. Or use another sim to bring up MCCC menu on the sympathizer (because I can't do even that with my first sim) and make them leave. Doing that produces an exception, but at least I can control my sim again
What do you expect to see? The action should continue and my sim should actually detain the resistance sympathizer and not get stuck
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I usually play with mods and cc but I removed all of them except MCCC and the bug still happens
Sadly, this has been an issue for over a year now since it was released. I do hope it gets fixed eventually. I haven’t found a solution so far.
