@AnaBanana_207484 Ah, I'm so sorry it didn't work for you. I just wander why? I'm thinking of what I did before using the mod, I recovered my save to the point where the child wasn't taken away and he had a good amount of hours before it happens.
In regards of the issue itself, is your sim child also having good grades at school, has good needs etc? Do you originally play with mods too?
Issue is really weird tbh, cant pin point why its happening, currently trying to test it on unmodded new save file, but it takes time to play that child to the point of being taken away (die) :D.

I've been trying to figure out stuff i did before as well. Yeah i play with mods and i removed any mod i installed before playing yesterday and that didn't fix it. The child had average grades like a B and his needs are good. Honestly i've never had a child taken away in all the years i've been playing sims 4 until this last sims 4 update lol . Honestly don't waste your time, its on them to fix this. I don't think there's anything else we can do. Weirdest bug ever
