I have this issue too, I don't remember how long, I think since about the time Outdoor Retreat came out. So I thought pack-related patches caused it, but since the new pack (released yesterday) didn't come with a patch I haven't been able to test that theory.
Actually the issue doesn't bother me much - whenever I want to check the amount of downloads on an creation I shared I always check via my profile since I noticed the download number in the library is often incorrect. But for others who aren't as investigative/curious as I, I can imagine it being quite upsetting to not know what's going on and that maybe something's missing. So I agree it would be nice to have this fixed.

What I think may be useful in solving the problem is that I organized the tray folder (which is the in-game library) and I noticed a lot of .trayitem files were of a date that didn't correspond with the rest of the files of that particular file group (it took me a lot of time and effort to correctly backup my files per item). Not all of these belonged to uploaded creations, but I did find out that these files are essential for visibility in the library - if only the .trayitem file is in the tray folder, the library will recognize the existence of the item but can't find it. If all files except the .trayitem file of a file group are in the tray folder it doesn't show in the library. So I think one part of the problem may be that because the .trayitem file of a particular creation has a different date than the other files of that creation's file group - the library no longer remembers it being shared because the .trayitem file is of a later date than the actual date of sharing. My technical knowledge is limited, but logic seems to point in that direct. I do believe that patches are somehow causing it, but I don't know how.
Should I find out anything else that may help somehow, I'll let you know. Also if anything I said is unclear, or clearly wrong - let me know.
