Ever since the last update, I can’t get my Sims to do any of the new romantic interactions included in the love struck expansion… Or woo hoo, or try to make a baby etc.. They will start to do the interaction and then the Sims will reset and not do anything, It seems like they do get the relationship boost from the proposed interaction (positive hearts will appear overhead, increased romance skill) but no long term effects from the interaction. I have no mods. But I do have all the expansion packs. I’m using a Mac… please help.
I'm having the same problem. My sim that was born in-game (before Lovestruck) is in a relationship with Luz López (the green-haired teen townie from the pack). They started the relationship as teens, now they are young adults and they cannot have romantic interactions. Everytime they do, the relationship icon appears over their heads, but they reset and no romantic satisfaction is gained, only a bit of romance. Just as in @dvskid124 image above, their romantic satisfaction is missing from their relationship profiles.
I tried aging them down, breaking up and aging up to young adult before starting the relationship again, but it didn't work. I made my sim go on a date with a random young adult townie, and both their romantic interactions and satisfaction progressed as expected.
In the end, I replaced Luz with a young adult copy of them from my gallery and that seems to be working.
This bug sucks and I hope it gets fixed soon, my sims frequently marry their highschool partners and it would be a hassle to replace their partners every time.
