[ARCHIVED] [LS] Sim who has never been heartbroken died of broken heart

I don't know if people are having this issue, but my sim will randomly just die of a broken heart even when they don't have the misery moodlet. I don't think they fully explained what can cause it. It just says to avoid negative romantic interactions, but I have had it happen where my sims died while talking to his current partner. Also, if you try to do the polyamorous route, you get sad and mercy moodlet super easy, and there is no way to cause the alotted time to get smaller. Only 2 days. Also I have noticed that if you part take in a romantic interact, either by you or to you, the timer resets to 14 hours. Can someone please explain what I need to do so my sims stops dying? I have to continually save my game non-stop in case my sim dies, so I can reset it.  It would be nice to not get punished for just playing with the features of the game.
