[ARCHIVED] Needs decay too fast/Hard to fill (Patch 1.63.134)

I am having this problem too, and it seems to be different needs for different sims. For one sim, I'm constantly fighting to keep her social and fun up. The usual interactions I try only move the need bars up a bit compared to before the patch, and they quickly tank again. For another sim it's his energy motive. He wakes up with a full green bar, but within a few hours he's in desperate need of a nap.

This is correct. Needs are decreasing at least twice as fast and taking longer to replenish by showering or eating.

I used to have my sims eat once a day. Now they have to eat at least twice a day. It's very difficult to keep it in the green.

FYI... You can adjust it if you have MCCC. It's in "MCCC Settings\Gameplay Settings\Motive Decay" I set mine to 75% of normal.

Ps4 here too. I thought it was an issue with tiny homes since that's the most recent pack I bought. Changing the lot type to a regular residential seemed to fix it but now I'm wondering if i changed it back if it would be fine.

I'd be interested to see if that works for anyone else.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sims are having to fufiul needs faster then normal the needs bars are also rapidly decreasing faster then normal, Its mainly Bladder, Hunger and sleep needs, however sometimes its hygine too
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims are getting negative bluffs due to their needs declaying faster the normal and not always using the fuctions to refill their needs.
What do you expect to see? Needs to decay at a normal rate and sims to use the functions such as the toilet to refill their needs.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I noticed that bladder, sleep and hunger are declaying faster then normal and sims are not always refilling the needs bars unless you tell them to. This is causing them to get negative bluffs.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a new sim or few in a household, in a new save. Get them to day 2 on a full energy bar.
What happens when the bug occurs? By day 2 despite getting a full energy bar when sleeping, they will get tired 2-3 hours before they should. This happens with child through elder sims.
What do you expect to see? Sims only starting to get tired when they've been up for at least 15 hours, which was how it was previously.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

For example, I wake my sims at 5am every day and sent them to bed at 11pm. They used to start getting tired at exactly 8pm, and hit the red at around 11pm. Now, they get tired as early as 6pm and hit the red as early as 8pm. Their beds are the best and most expensive in the game (which means they can fill their energy with just 6 hours of sleep), and I make sure to check that their energy is 100% full before waking them, and every single night this still happens and it's driving me bonkers.

I came here to see if anyone is having this issue. My sims needs are decaying way too quickly. Her hunger, energy and bladder are the ones I notice mostly affected. This is definitely something recent. 

this could be a new game mode, we could change the difficulty of the game 🙂
