Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Cancel a knitting project after starting, or have sim interrupted while knitting. Then try to resume project, or frog project.
What happens when the bug occurs? Literally nothing. Nothing queues or fails, the menu goes away as if you misclicked. i click "resume (name of project)" or "FROG (name of project)" and nothing happens.
What do you expect to see? Resume project or frog project to queue the interaction, sim finds a place to sit, and does said action
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. My sim was knitting frequently and correctly until the 07/23/2024 update. i have removed all mods and checked on new save files, it always happens and the bed trick for the old bug does not work.
-I removed all mods
-I tried on a new save file with a new sim who had never been modded
-I tried sitting first
-I tried sitting on the bed
-I reset all sims and objects including yarn basket
-I deleted yarn basket and bought a new one
-I tried on rocking chair
Please hear me out i know there is a page for this bug technically but this specifically occurred with the new update and the old workarounds don't work for this. It feels like a new bug as the old one was never truly fixed you just had to sit on the bed or at least sit first if it happened. I dont want to lag out my game with uncompleted projects i can never clear.
vanilla game here. this has only been an issue since the update! cannot resume knit or frog knit a project
My game has never been modded and no CC ever and I'm having the same very frustrating issue. Especially since my sim starts projects on her own so now she had a ton of stuff started but nothing finished. I haven't had this issue into Lovestruck and subsequent patches.
I am also having this issue, I need knitting to do the globetrotter challenge and now I cannot continue!
Not fixed by the patch to version 1.108.349.1020 / PC (Aug 8, 2024).
Dang, I was coming here to hope that today's update had fixed it but couldn't see anything in the patch notes. Thanks for confirming!
I also cannot resume a previously started knit project nor frog any work. I'm playing via console PS5. Please fix this. Spending money on knit kits that I can't finish is frustrating and a waste of my sims time
