I am also having this bug and have gotten a Last Exception with no mods/cc in my game. I have had them out since before the Tue July 23 update.

since the last patch i have severe problems with knitting. i had problems before but now it's really bad. i also tried it with a completely new savegame and without mods- still the problem is there.
the sim doesn't continue knitting when you click on it and it can't unknit the project either.
someone please try the following, because i have the problem xD :
when i have a coolerbox in my inventory and click on it, the selection knit animal clothes appears XD
I've only had this issue since the 23/07 patch. Strictly vanilla.
