Same. Sometimes they can start a new project, but if they don't finish in one go they can't resume. Also can't "frog" projects.
Same here. It has to be said however that Resume Knitting was already useless before the patch because the game wasn't able to save the progress of the project after reloading the lot (same with writing books) and started from scratch over and over. This has to be taken into account when fixing the bug, otherwise the work is in vain.
Thanks for the info. I didn't know that. This was the first save that I"ve spent much time knitting anything.
I never had that issue with book writing though. (hope I didn't just jinx myself there)
