The ones from before still stuck up there. @crinrict
- crinrict4 months agoHero+@Lightsims8 For someone else they are now all stuck on the floor. The big question is if it still newly happens.
Do you still have all of them in the sky or some of them on the floor ?- 4 months ago
All still in sky, looks exact same way as before. Not sure if it will happen again after patch when making a new lot. If you want to see if you'll get these objects in sky with this lot, after patch, you could maybe try downloading it on my gallery lightsims8, place with moo on, some day when you have time, & look to the right in sky, to see if grass appears up there for others..🤷 - housebuild was called Grimhangout&Snakecreature. @crinrict
- crinrict4 months agoHero+@Lightsims8 It's fine. I believe you that you still have issues.
It would be important to know if it's newly affecting lots or 'just' from before.
Pondering to merge it with this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Objects-flying-in-the-sky-are-now-on-the-ground/td-p/14190786/ as it's in a way the same issue of objects from a bug still being there.

It does still newly happen. I watched an NPC sim create a herbal remedy and put it on the floor, it immediately became uninteractable. I'm also having this issue at the werewolf hangouts in Moonwood Mill so it's not limited to San Myshuno.

A few years ago, I decided to use the T.O.O.L mod to place some fireworks boxes high in the air in one of the districts of San Myshuno. The purpose of this was to make a New Year's video.
I didn't actually delete the boxes I placed in the air later, but I could easily do so using the “Destroy Object” debug interaction, which was always available. Some time passed, and I forgot to delete these boxes.
Later, these fireworks boxes that I had placed high in the air simply disappeared. I thought: did I delete them? I don't remember.
Recently, I discovered that I hadn't actually deleted the boxes. What happened was that the bug that makes things go to the sky had appeared, and this bug had taken the fireworks boxes to the sky, so they had disappeared and I couldn't see them in the district anymore, making me think that I had deleted them.
When the last patch, for Life and Death, was released, it was supposed to fix the issue of floating objects in the sky, and it did, but not completely.
Apparently, some objects have fallen from the sky, and are not clickable. There is no action. It is not possible to delete them using the "Destroy Objects" debug interaction. If it were possible, this problem would have been solved by ourselves!
The fireworks boxes that I had placed high in the air, with the T.O.O.L mod, and that had been taken very far away because of that crazy bug, returned to their original location (which I had placed), but I can't delete them because THERE IS NO ACTION.
To make matters worse, if I save the game (in this save), and then start a new save-game, from scratch, the fireworks boxes from my original save WILL ALSO APPEAR IN THE NEW SAVE, in the same place, floating in the sky of San Myshuno. What is the logic behind this? It seems that a kind of cache is created that is carried over to other saves if the bugged save is saved, I don't know how to explain it!
The fireworks boxes are objects that I had originally placed in the world, I am not able to delete them anymore, and to make matters worse, they are being transferred to new saves!
If I move my electronic arts folder to another location, and start my The Sims 4 to generate a new folder, obviously all will be well with the world and there will be nothing wrong with it.
The question is: how can I abandon the save game that I have had since the day The Sims 4 was released? We are talking about a 10-year-old file. Am I going to abandon it because I can't delete 3 boxes of fireworks that I could delete before, because they were objects I placed, but now I can't?
PLEASE! Find a way to make these objects clickable so we can remove them!
CREATE A CHEAT that allows us, the players, to click on ANY object in the world, and then delete them, no matter if they are rocks, trees, decorations or items with no action at all, make anything clickable through a cheat, so we can solve this once and for all.
