@Down-in-Simsland I had this bug too. I moved my sims to a normal house but there is something else. It happens even if your on a different lot but in the same area as a apartment. So a area of Willow creek with no r-rental it doesn't happen but a area with a r-rental the bug does happen even if your not loaded on the r-rental. My sims were in a house in a area with a r-rental so I had to move in a area in the same hood without a r-rental. I had comment like this since It said I had to sign in even though I am.

@Creeper545548 I confirm, in fact I mentioned it when I gave my contribution, yes, in my case I entered a lot in Monte Komorebi in a neighborhood with a rental lot that I placed a long time ago, and that was how I realized the error.
