I play on PS4.
Last year I got error code 0 and after managing to fix that I noticed all my photos had turned black. I was absolutely devastated and didn't play for a couple of months. No response from EA support. I learned from last time and started saving all my houses to the gallery, whenever new pictures were added to rooms I'd upload them to my library etc. Well I just had a few more days of error code 0 and yet AGAIN my photos have turned black. Generations of wedding and baby photos. So I think no worries, I've saved the lots to the gallery. I go to the gallery and only ONE of the lots are saved to the gallery. YOU GUYS, I saved these lots MULTIPLE TIMES. I saved rooms full of photos. I saved a museum full of photos. All of them have disappeared and now once again I'm crying over this glitchy, POS game.
How the hell can this even happen? I tried so hard to back up my photos, I don't understand how things can disappear from my own library like this. I never want to play this game again. I want a refund for every damn expansion pack. I'm so sick of this. Because I play on PS4, none of the cool solutions will work. I'm literally so fed up. If nobody knows how to fix this, does anyone know how to actually contact EA?
I just don't understand how things can disappear from my own library. And now I can't even replace the single lot that was preserved- it comes up with an error code message and bulldozed the glitched lot but won't allow me to replace it with the saved lot. I'm at my wits end and seriously upset. I'm even more upset at this thread and that nobody from EA has any answers or even a damn apology. I hate everything about this
I have a similar issue and I also play on console. (Ps5), It started with trying to save the game, I got an error code 0 and then when i created a new save, and reopened the game, all my pictures were black as well! I've since started a new game and have two save files, one I treat as a back up file and the other as my main game file. I feel like the black photo paired with error code 0 when saving could be related to taking too many pictures or using the photo booth. I'm leaning towards some kind of bug with the photo booth because after I had my sims take a picture in the booth and saved it, I was given the error code 0 again. I backed out the game and opened my backup saved game data, created a new save file and then tried taking pictures with the camera and saving and I didn't have an error.
I'm not sure how to go about fixing it though. So I guess I'm going to avoid the photo booth until someone else comes up with a solution that fixes it.
