There is a new issue with lighting reverting to the default color and intensity that seems to be triggered by enabling the auto lights feature. Here's how color/intensity/auto lighting used to work...
BEFORE THE PATCH:
If you changed the color and intensity of your lighting (whether the individual light, the room or the whole lot), it would automatically trigger all lights turning on -- i.e. it would disable the auto lights setting if you had it on and all your lights would change to being illuminated 24/7. Once you were happy with the color/intensity, you simply needed to turn the auto light feature back on (for the lot/room/light) and you were good to go.
AFTER THE PATCH:
You change the color and intensity of your lighting (individual/room/lot). You then activate auto lighting. Turning on the auto lighting feature reverts all your lighting color choices back to the harsher yellow lighting that is the default setting.
NOTE: It seems that if you activate auto lighting FIRST, and then edit your color and intensity that this no longer triggers the deactivating of the auto lighting setting. In other words, when you edit color and intensity, it no longer triggers all lights to turn on 24/7.
SO, while the lighting settings still aren't working the way they should, you can get around it for now by simply reversing the order in how we used to have to do things (color/intensity first, then turn on auto lighting). Now, if you activate auto lights first, that setting seems to stay and you can edit your color and intensity for each light/room/lot afterward.
BUT, if you activate auto lighting AFTER setting color and intensity, you will lose all of your color and intensity settings and all lighting will revert to their default settings.
Let me know if more testing/info is needed on this issue, I'm happy to help!
Seen this reported a few times now and I believe @BryonyRae is doing some testing.
Awaiting her feedback

I've been doing some testing, and it appears that not only does auto lights.cause the behavior, but also simply turning lights off or on. Any color/intensity settings will be removed the moment you turn lights off, regardless of whether you do it individually, by room, or for all lights. Also, if you select auto lights, then set the color/intensity for some lights and decide that you want to manually turn them on (i.e. in a room where no sim is present), they will likewise lose their color/intensity settings. Likewise, if you manually turn a light off.
I would definitely categorize this as a bug and would like to merge it into our lighting issues thread.

The lights have several bugs right now.
- auto lights resetting light settings
- auto lights sometimes can only be assigned to this room or all lights on random lights which affects all lights of the room the selected light is in
- selecting auto lights after changing light settings resets light settings
- lights ignoring auto light
