    @edavok1 This scenario is from before infants. It specifically says baby - which would be the current newborns, ie the babies that are attached to bassinets. If you adopt an older child - infant, toddler, kid - it won't fulfill the requirement. Did you try adopting a newborn?

      You are exactly right!  I adopted a "infant" on first try and it didn't work.  After your advice, I went back and adopted "newborn" and everything is working!  Thank you so much.
