[ARCHIVED] [PSP] Nail polish colors part of the outfit (yfBody_SP18DressShirt)

Hi there. Back again, with a brand new question!

Other than the gameplay, one of the main reasons I bought Paranormal Stuff was the full-body outfit with the half-unbuttoned dress over the shorts. But I've never been able to use it even once, because every single swatch has a horizontal, white tear at the waist. The only swatch where it doesn't really matter is the all-white one, because it sort of blends in.

I saw that someone in a different forum the other day posted a picture of this same outfit, and I noticed that their picture did not have the same visual tear that mine does. This surprised me, as I figured it was a universal problem with the outfit. I tried to make my own post in that forum, but the "bot" automatically deleted it because they thought it was a mod/cc issue question, even though it's not, it's about an official EA outfit. So I had to ask my question again, this time in a pinned help thread, but you cannot attach pictures there when you leave a comment, so I don't think I'm going to get much assistance there when I cannot show an example of what I'm talking about. So, I hope someone can help me here!

Has anyone else either had this issue, or knows what might be causing it?

A while back, someone mentioned that the Paranormal Stuff shoes have a bit of a tear on the back of them. I had never noticed that myself, but when I went into CAS after reading that comment, I did, in fact, notice a small tear. But that was nowhere near as obvious as the marking on this full-body outfit.

My expectation would be that I should be able to use an EA CAS item that I paid for.

I've attached pictures showing the issue. I have tried the outfit on different female Sims of different ages, with different hairs, shoes and accessories. The problem is always there. Any help would be appreciated!

It’s a vanilla bug. You got this because of nails (or CC accessories)

Screen1 my test-sim  with nails, and you see the same issue.

If your report some issues you should always report it with a vanilla folder, without mods and the screens should always show a sim without any CC. (Your Sim use CC-Hair)

// Its not only the Paranormal Outfit, we have more clothing which have problems with vanilla nails and that you get some of this texture glitches. Because it is something which does not bother me personally, I never reported these things. (My sims only use rare nails and I don’t use any CC-CAS. If I have a glitchy outfit, I use another outfit or remove the thing which cause this glitch)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open CAS, put on the feminine outfit from PSP with the ripped shorts and long coat with half sleeves then put on any nails
What happens when the bug occurs? There is a small stripe under the cinched part of the outfit that is the same texture as the nails
What do you expect to see? The outfit should be one solid pattern with no missing patches
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Select nail polish on a particular outfit from paranormal stuff.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nail polish shows on clothing as a small stripe.
What do you expect to see? Nail polish shouldn't affect the clothing
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

I know that there was already a thread about this topic but I found another piece of clothing where nail polish shows up on the clothing. It's the outfit shown in the picture. It's from paranormal stuff.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Dress a female sim in the Full Body outfit yfBody_SP18DressShirt from Paranormal. Then select a colour to paint her nails and you will notice a line appear on the outfit, under the bust, reflecting the nail colour selected.
What happens when the bug occurs? Every time I dress a female sim in the Dress Shirt outfit AND paint her nails. It happens with every swatch of the outfit and every swatch of nail polish.
What do you expect to see? That the nail colour doesn't cause a line to appear on the dress shirt.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

See picture below showing my sim wearing the Full Body outfit yfBody_SP18DressShirt from Paranormal in green.  She is also wearing the new nail polish from Lovestruck (neutral with a pink tip) and under the sim's bust you can clearly see a neutral coloured line with a pink end.  This line shows up on every swatch of the outfit in the same place and will reflect whatever colour nail polish the sim is wearing, eg if she were wearing blue nail polish the line would be blue.

What do you expect to see? Not to have nails polish on the outfit.
