[ARCHIVED] Reaper's Rewards: Grim Icon Visible But No Quests Available

Hey all! This thread is for those of you who see the Events tab (seen below) on the Main Menu and have the Grim icon in game, but do not see any quests available AKA "No Plumbob Icons". ...

    Hey all,

    As the Reaper's Rewards event has now ended, this thread has been archived. 

    Thank you all so much for sharing the information needed to assist the team. Even though some issues weren't able to be resolved by the conclusion of the Reaper's Rewards event, we were able to use that data provided to improve the experience for future events. 

    As always, we continue to learn and explore how we can provide the best possible experience for all who play The Sims 4, and will use the information in this thread to make decisions on how we can best move forward for future events.

I can't believe I have to keep asking this. What about console players?

    Apologies, we haven't forgotten about you. At this time we believe the data provided from other platforms will also help determine the root cause for console as well.

    I'll share any information I get.

      Could you PLEASE also say whether or not we will be given additional time to complete the event after things are fixed so we could all stress out a little bit less?  Please?

        Yea, bc it’s been not working for several weeks for me. I haven’t been able to do anything but like 2 tasks for the entire event.

      Sincerely hope we get some information for console soon. Was beyond upset last week when my Xbox lost the event tasks and then compounded with the fact that the buy one get one free on expansion packs in the Xbox Microsoft store was ALSO glitched and inaccessible and never got any resolution from Microsoft on that (thank goodness EA decided to run a sale the week after) but it’s seriously stressing me out that I might get the same cold shoulder treatment from EA in regards to the event rewards as Microsoft gave everyone with the sale being inaccessible (which was a big *kick rocks*)

    I really wish console players had access to a repair tool of sorts to help with troubleshooting issues.

    Sorry to reply to this, but also a console player and it is still not working! It’s getting really close to the end and I really want to do the event but I can’t. Needs to get fixed. Not using cheats in Game or anything at most move objects but this doesn’t remove any achievements that’s a thing. I could view the rewards all I want, but I can’t do the actual tasks. Completed week one so it’s not The mailbox for the ambrosia thing. I was able to start doing week two with something with flowers, but then it just completely stopped working. Also, House tried to start completely new game files to see if that would fix it. Yeah that’s not doing a thing.

      I replied in an earlier post and I have the most recent update of the game. I can not express how stressed and exasperated I am about this issue. I was really hopeful that the recent update would fix this and I was incredibly disappointed. Including pictures I took the day of the update once my game let me know it was updated.

    Do you know if console ever got a fix for this problem? I've been searching since I think week 2 of the event when the problem started for me lol

    Even spoke to EA Support chat the other day and they insisted it'd be fixed before the end... which is now in 9 days 😔

      @Naterrrlieesomeone else has the solution that at least worked for me, upload all data to PlayStation plus or USB,delete all data from storage then play and create a sim and all that and the quest should start from the week you left off

    Yes, me too!!!   I am on Xbox.  Have the same issue, but no solutions and no help out here.  I feel like I have spent way too much money and time in this game to have issues like this with absolutely no help available whatsoever to resolve issues!
