i’m having this exact same issue its so frustrating! i’m trying to get my male sim to find a partner but he gets rejected by everyone, i’ve tried him flirting with about 8 different woman but they all give him the hand, i play on console so i don’t have any mods
@Ellcott_x I haven't yet tested this since adding the new pack/patch as I'm in build mode currently setting up my Lovestruck Sim, but I've recently gone through Other Households and edited Townies romantic preferences to make them compatible with certain Sims.
I had one Sim recently who was rejected every single time. I found some (but not all) Townies had no preferences and it was not many but it happened to be the ones my Sim was talking to (she was romancing Paparazzi). As soon as I edited their preferences my Sim was successful. I did the same thing in preparation for the new pack last week.
Another thing you can do is add a new potential romantic interest of your own to their household as a friend or romantic partner and move them out into their own household so they don't have to live together and can carry on a regular relationship, but do that in live mode so they've built friendship first or I find (if I immediately use Split Household) they have a low friendship bar still. I usually make them a fiancé but now we have Partner/Engaged I can still then break them up later. I'm really glad they added Partner because I'll use it a lot for this. I see the OP here had created some Sims specifically for the pack which is slightly different. But again it should help to partner the Sims up in CAS first.
You can also use Enchanting Introduction with a high enough Charisma Skill to have more success with a Sim who has the right preferences.
I'm also on Console btw and this is just a workaround but hope this helps, good luck!
