I am having this problem too, with some newly created married sims in a family with 4 children. They have Amazing Compatibility, are Very Attracted to each other, have all the same Turn-ons and Turn-offs, and even had the Deeply in Love sentiment at the beginning due to my making them have romantic interactions so frequently. In general, they don't spend any significant time apart because every day I make them interact in a romantic way. However, the second they do separate things, like going to work, gardening, cooking or taking care of the baby, the Romance bar drops to zero within just a few minutes. For instance, today, I had my Sims being romantic on the couch while they watched a Season Premiere, and then the wife went to work. Literally within seconds of her leaving, while the husband was still watching TV, the romance bar had dropped almost to zero. This happens no matter what I do. I took them on a successful gold date after that, and the Romance bar was again full, but then again, while they were sleeping, it had drained completely. I took my mods out, so I currently don't have any mods, which is why I don't think it could be a mod. Ugh, this bug is so frustrating, because it is ruining both romantic gameplay and family play, and I wish it could be fixed as soon as possible.
I accidentally posted a duplicate bug report to this issue.
It includes my save file, a video of it happening, and the mc command center error I always get. I also had Simularity's Slower Relationship Satisfaction Decay and Lumpinou's Lovestruck: Romantic Satisfaction: No Time Decay. They're both awesome modders, but unfortunately, the fixes didn't work in my game.

Because they almost certainly wouldn't work together, so that could be the problem if so. (Just covering all the bases, since I've tried to force conflicting mods together more than once lol)

@Moozilla13 I did try them separately. Thanks for asking because I totally should’ve added that. Lol. Now the romantic decay seems stable. I think what’s happening is that my sim will randomly do a mean interaction out of nowhere. For some reason, this drains their romantic relationship. And even though it looks like they’re still together, when I go to CAS they’re no longer shown as Partners. I saw that there was an open bug report for people who are still experiencing mean interactions from sims. I’m not sure if she fits the criteria that they listed, but making the romance bar drain due to one mean interaction seems excessive.
ETA: this bug is affecting my sims couple that live together. There’s another person in the household who has a romantic interest outside of the household. They don’t seem to be affected by this bug.
