Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Talk to Father Winter during Winterfest when he visits and try to Ask for Present
What happens when the bug occurs? My toddler has an "Ask for Present" option, my young adult sim only has an option to "Fight Father Winter for Presents". When the toddler asks for a present, no response occurs. If my young adult sim fights for a present and she wins, no present is given.
What do you expect to see? I expect gifts from Father Winter.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
OneDrive Save File - I've been able to repeat this on my save 100% of the time. Father Winter shows up shortly after the save point, my toddler has the option to Ask for Present, however nothing happens. My young adult sim does not have the Ask for Present option, however she is able to Fight for Presents. I had her fight for presents a few times, and nothing happens upon winning the fight.

I also have Werewolves, Vintage Glamour, Vampires, Spa Day, Perfect Patio, Movie Hangout, Moschino, Island Living, Holiday Celebration, Get Together, Get To Work, Discover University, Desert Luxe, Cats & Dogs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? On Winterfest, have Father Winter show up. Greet him. Open interaction menu and open all options. If it matters, I had classic pie menu interactions selected.
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no option to "Ask for Present" anywhere.
What do you expect to see? An "Ask for Present" option, which existed before the latest patch. Maybe just under "Friendly", or maybe under a subcategory (Small Talk, Activities, what have you.

Please describe the patch or change you made. Patch 1.96.365.1030 - didn't have this problem before this patch.
I haven't yet tried disabling my mods, but I have no mods that ought to be impacting Father Winter in any way, and I was using the same mods pre-patch. I can try without the mods later.
Can infants ask for gifts?
Dunno, and it doesn't apply to this bug anyway. My Sim was a Young Adult.
Upon going over the topic after the merge with a previous topic, I see a suggestion to evict Father Winter from his house. THIS WORKED. So if anyone else is having the same problem I am, just find Father Winter and put him out on the streets.
