I have played several games with different families. My toddlers mostly don't get presents, but very occasionally they got. I think who obtained trait Toddler_Charmer.
Santa Claus does not give gifts only to toddlers. This is definitely a bug in the game. In any save, with and without other additions, with any mods and without mods, on two hundred families with which I played, this error is always repeated.
I've had the problem with Father Winter not giving gifts to my toddlers forever. Recently read a youtube-comment saying this was related to what communication skill a toddler was at. So for the latest Winterfest I made sure that my toddler was level 5 in communication to try this out... and she got a gift!
Now; I've only tried this once. But might work for someone else with the same problem. 🙂
My toddler was at top communication skill and Father Winter turned his back on her after two hours of conversation and shot up the chimney before midnight even rolled around. I love how the bugs are completely different each time you start a new neighborhood. And each time I start out with holidays enabled, I am quickly reminded why I disabled them in the neighborhood before.
I’m having the same issue. I was able to ask for a present literally a few days ago and now I cant at all !!! So annoying. EA please fix it ☹️((
