I did some further testing on this and it seems the game completely things indoor buildings are outdoors.
A list of normally outdoor exclusive things sims can do while inside following the most recent patch;
I would turn off temperature effects on sims until this is fixed.

- Cloudgaze
- Watch the night sky
- Go hiking/jogging
- Burn/freeze to death

I would suggest making the post about the outdoor activities being able to do inside as "indoors is registered as outdoors" which doesn't seem to exist as of my reply.
