This is happening to me as well!! I have weather modlets about my sims being to cold from weather but they are inside. It also occured after the last update

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.112.481.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all expansions, game packs, stuff packs, and kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter the game in the winter season. Wait for a snowstorm, or blizzard.
What happens when the bug occurs? When it snows, the snowfall appears inside the buildings even though it is completely enclosed with a roof. This includes apartment buildings. It should also be noted that this was not a pre-made building but one that I made.
What do you expect to see? Snowfall should only occur outside the building, not in the middle of my poor Sim's cozy kitchen.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. This problem occurred after the 1/14/2025 game update.
The first image shows the snowfall occurring within an enclosed building, the other two images prove the building is indeed enclosed with a roof.
