So, issue seems to be that there are two requirements (for receiving the regular customer relbit) which can't be fulfilled at the same time: be an npc and have self-care aspiration selected (aspirations are afaik ignored in inactive households)

I think you misunderstand. In order to see if the RepeatCustomer relbit should be set they test if the player has the SelfcareSpecialist Aspiration. If not there would be no point in doing a count.

    @jpkarlsenAre you sure they test the player sim even if they're on the receiving end (actions are triggered when reacting to massage/giving feedback/tips)? Besides, both tests are performed on the same sim, so unless npc aspirations are acknowledged, you can't fulfill both requirements at once.

    p.s. there's also RelationshipTrack_Wellness_RepeatCustomer featuring the following lines:

    I'm pretty sure that it first counts when you get positive feedback afterwards. They may tip you or shake your hand.
