I still encounter this issue

Just checking: Exact same behavior as described in first post ?
I currently had this exact same issue just now. Maid stood outside my house for 3 days, going from knocking on door to mailbox and waving... non stop. I finally invited her to the park and left her there and canceled my maid service. Since maids are something that is actually IN the game, I'd like to use it. But now I can't for fear of this glitch coming back. Any word on a fix for it yet other than just a walk around?
Could you rehire one and see if you have the same behavior ?

There is no ask to leave he just stares at the mailbox and then comes over to knock at the door, and knock, and knock, and.... you get the picture. Anyway I even had my Sim be mean and tell him to go away. Nope, he stood there then begin to knock again! Btw I have no CC the game is updated as well.
